Disney is a hot spot, when it comes to vacations, and if you plan on visiting one of these parks in the near future, I wanted to show you how you can get a great deal on the water parks that Disney has to offer.  Since no one likes paying full price for anything, here are a few tips, and tricks that you can use.

Consider the multiple tickets - Disney offers  a lot of packages, and if you’re going to be there for more than one day, you may want to consider getting a specific Disney pass.  You’ll find that if you do this, you’ll be able to get a great deal on more than one day.

Avoid the holidays - Like any trip, you want to avoid the peak times.  This means that you should avoid going during the holidays, or even the weekends.  A great time to go is generally during the off season in the middle of the week.

Watch what you wear - When you head into the water park, you’ll find that there are certain locker sizes.  The bigger they are, the more you’re going to pay.  If you find yourself wearing a lot, you’re going to have to pay a lot more for a bigger locker.

Get the unlimited drink cup – If the water park still has this option, I would highly recommend you get the unlimited drink cup.  With this cup, you’ll be able to get drinks throughout the day.  If the day is hot, you’ll find that the price is well worth it.

Bring in your own snacks - If you have kids, you’ll want to bring some snacks, and you won’t want to buy it from concessions.  Bring smaller things in a backpacks, or cooler.  Make sure that you don’t bring too much, because you’re going to be doing a lot of walking.

These are all tips that you can follow when you’re looking to save money at the Disney water parks.  Try some of these tips out, and save money today!

Finding a vacation homeIf you plan on taking a vacation soon, you may soon find out that renting a vacation home is a lot cheaper than going through a hotel itself.  Now, if you’re not familiar with renting a vacation home, you’re probably wondering how you do it?

Let me give you some tips when it comes down to finding the perfect vacation rental home.  If you follow these tips, I can assure you that you’ll find a great place to stay, and enjoy your vacation all at once.

Always look for pictures - When you’re on the hunt for vacation homes online, always look for pictures.  I would never rent from someone that doesn’t have a picture online.  Always make sure that there are pictures, and if you need more, never hesitate to contact the owner, or company for more information.

Know what you’re getting – A good vacation home owner will describe the property to a tee, and tell you exactly what you’re going to get.  If you know what you want, make sure that the property has it.  For example, if you want three bedrooms, check and make sure that the three bedrooms are included, and not two, etc.

Compare prices in the area - Just like buying a home, you don’t want to jump on the first vacation home you see.  If you do this, you may find that you jumped too quick, and overpaid.  You don’t want to pay $500/week, when you could have rented something similar down the road for $300.  Always price compare when researching.

Who are you dealing with? When you want to rent a vacation home, know who you are dealing with.  Are you dealing with a 3rd party, or are you dealing with the owner itself?  A 3rd party may not be able to answer questions, as well as the owner, so make sure you know who you’re dealing with, so that you get the right answers.

If you don’t know where to turn when looking for vacation homes, try out VRBO, a vacation spot solely listed by owners, or VacationHomeRentals.com.  Both of these sites should give you a great listing of places that you would like to stay.

It’s the summer time, and it’s time to get out there, and travel.  There’s no better time than to travel when everywhere in the USA is warm, rather than cold.  I’m sure the kids are out of school, and it’s a great time to take off work.  If you’re looking for some great vacation spots for the whole family, I came up with some spots you should check out.

San Diego, CA - With warm weather year around, and great beaches, this is a great place to take the family for the weekend.  You can swim in the ocean, go to Sea World, or visit the ever so famous San Diego zoo.

New York City - Many people steer clear of NYC during the cold months, since the weather can be brutal.  Where do I start when it comes to New York City?  With a million and one things to do, there will be something that will entertain you.

Chicago, IL - Another great big city, Chicago is a wonderful place to be in the summer.  From going to the top of the Sears tower, to just walking up, and down Michigan Avenue.  There’s so much to do in terms of shopping, and restaurants.

Myrtle Beach, SC - I’m a huge fan of beaches, and Myrtle Beach fits my criteria quite well.  It’s loaded with tons of shopping, restaurants, and miles of beaches.  There’s nothing better than taking the family to a nice resort, and hanging out at the beach each, and every day!

Orlando, FL - Sure, Florida is hot in the Summertime, but there’s some great places to cool off, such as the oceans nearby.  If you’re looking for adventure, Orlando has it all from Disney World to the Magic Kingdom.  You can keep busy here for days, without having to think of things to do.

Maui, Hawaii – If you have the money to travel to Hawaii, you’re in for a treat.  Since many haven’t been here, a lot are finding out that they are missing out when they get older.  Snorkel in the ocean, explore forests, volcanoes, and enjoy the local culture.

These are just a select few cities that should check out when it comes to your summer travels this year.  It doesn’t even have to be summer to go to these places!  Instead, look at a few of these cities, and see what works for you and your family.

The thing I love about the Internet is that I’m able to always find secrets about any kind of industry.  From particular fast food companies, to car rental agencies, ex employees love to talk about their old company, especially if things went bad.  If you’re looking to save money on your next car rental trips, here are some tips that you can use in order to save lots of money.

You can always negotiate your price: Just because you get a price online or through the phone, it doesn’t mean you have to pay that full price.  Instead, negotiate a price when you get to the counter.  Ask them what kind of specials they have, etc.

Look into your insurance: If you have your own personal insurance, of you have a travel reward credit card, you may find out that you’re already covered in terms of insurance.  Instead of taking the outrageous policy offered by the car rental agency, check with your local insurance agency to see if you’re covered or not.

Weekends are your friends: Most rental companies have a load of cars on the weekends, and this is usually when you can score a great deal.  If you can book your vacation around the weekend, and rent your car then, you can find yourself grabbing a better deal as compared to the regular work week.

Be nice: If you’re nice to the rental clerk, you may find that they will give you a better deal, depending on their mood.  Yes, just about everyone at the desk has the power to help you with upgrades, etc.  Be kind, and friendly, and see how far they can take you with your rental.

Car rentals are essential when you’re taking a vacation.  Make sure that you try out some of these tips up above, to see if you can truly save a lot of money on your next rental.
