4 Ways to Get Free Stuff Traveling
posted by FindAirlineCards.com
Traveling around the world can get really expensive if you don’t do your research properly before your trip. Research and using the internet can go a long way before you book your next flight. I’m going to show you today a few ways on how you can get free things while you travel, so that you don’t put a huge burden on your traveling budget.
Browse the web for promotions
Websites like Travelocity offer web promotions that sometimes offer free things if you buy a particular package. This works great if you’re looking for ideas for a trip. Sometimes, you may find that if you book a hotel and flight through them, you’ll be able to get a free voucher for a car rental. It all adds up quick. Remember to check more than one travel based website.
Online coupons always work
With the internet and even newspapers and magazines, there are always coupons spread out everywhere. Whether it be food, hotels, or clothing, there’s something for everything and remember, when you go on a vacation, you’ll still need to eat and possibly buy supplies. This is why it’s important to look out for coupon deals. Sometimes you may find gems such as a buy one get one free, etc. It all adds up!
Timeshare Kiosks
If you travel a lot, you probably know where I’m going with this. Timeshare kiosks and representatives are everywhere in hotspots like Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, and others. These people sit around hot spots and try to sign you up for a presentation. In order to get you there, they will generally offer you great goods such as free dinners, hotel stays, or even cash! The bad thing about this though is that you have to sit through a very long 3-4 hour presentation on timeshare vacation rentals. If you’re willing to waste a few hours of your time on vacation, I would recommend this! Just be prepared to say no eight million times.
Flying for Free
Did you know that are ways to fly for free? There are actually flights out there known as courier services where you can set down a deposit and fly for free to any of the destinations they fly to. To get more information on this, here’s a little how-to guide.
Another way of flying free is by simply signing up for an airline credit card. Most credit cards will allow you to get a free airline ticket just for signing up. Make sure that when you do sign up that you look out at the terms and conditions to see if there are any hidden fees or annual fees. Even after you get the free airline ticket, you can still get many rewards just by using the credit, it’s definitely something to look into!
