Is it already too early to start thinking about Winter?  Well, if you’re like me, I love to do all of my trips during the colder months, since I don’t mind staying around my home when it’s warm out.

Whether you’re going to take out your family, your friends, or maybe just go by yourself, I wanted to give you some ideas on what you could potentially do when it comes to your winter vacation.  There are so many ideas, it’s your choice to find something that works best for you!

Consider a road trip

The first thing that many people don’t think of is a road trip.  I don’t care where you live, what you’re going to want to do is head to the southern states and go from there.  You can do California to Florida, or even Florida to Texas.  Enjoy points along the way.

Do the Island / Cruise Ship

No matter where you are, it’s always 5PM (I know, cliche) and there is always somewhere enjoying that 80 degree heat.  Want to get out of the cold?  Find an island getaway package that can allow you to head on a cruise ship and stay at a hotel afterward to wind down.

Hit up a beach resort

Fly to Florida or even California to enjoy the waves.  There are many fantastic packages that you can take advantage of.  These packages are going to include your rental car, hotel, as well as plane ticket.  Depending on where you go, you may get drinks and food as well.  Test out Priceline, as this is my favorite place to book trips like this.

Do you want to stay cold?

Generally, when I think about a Winter getaway, I think about the heat and warmer places, but some people just aren’t that way.  If you want to go somewhere colder, consider getting a cabin, or even a hotel near a popular ski resort based town.  In my opinion, the only fun thing to do in the snow is ski and I don’t even do that much often!

Head south

Places like Cancun, the Bahamas, as well as L.A. and Vegas are all great places.  Most of these places are going to average around 60-70 degrees.  There are plenty of things to do in these areas, so if you think about doing something here, find some packages that may suit your needs.  Again, try out great travel based websites online.
