If you’ve never flown before or you’ve flown a million times, there are still probably some questions that still go unanswered. Well today, I thought it would be a great idea to offer a bunch of advice and throw it all into a nutshell. Now, I’m not going to give a detailed response for each category but rather a little three sentence summary.
Finding cheap airline tickets: Cheap airline tickets are easy to come by. I would recommend you use websites like PriceLine.com, where you can name your own price or book directly to save the most money.
Airline safety: When flying with any airline, make sure that you know what you can and can’t bring on an airline. It’s also important that you listen to the pre-boarding flight instructions.
Travel Health: If you’re worried about ear pain, motion sickness or anything like this. Find remedies or medicines you can take when taking off.
Fear of flying: If you have a fear of flying, don’t worry about it because there are many things you can do to get rid of the fear of flying.
Preparing for your flight: There’ s a lot involved when preparing for your flight. Make sure you have everything packed, you know where to go and get there early.
Getting to the airport: Always make sure you know how to get to the airport and make sure you get there at least 2 hours early to avoid any potential delays.
Passing through the gate: Wear little clothing, follow the rules on the board, place everything including your shoes on the belt so that the TSA can inspect everything.
What to bring: Bring your photo ID, your boarding pass or anything that shows proof of your boarding pass.
Finding airport parking: If you’re going to drive to the airport and stay a few days, know of airport parking lots around the airport you’re going to and know how to get a good deal.
Getting cheap car rentals: When you land at the arriving airport, you’re probably going to need a rental car, make sure you know how to find great deals and cars before you land. Always make a reservation.
These are just some short snippets that you can use when looking for advice. I also provided some older posts that I’ve written in regards to some of these tips. Use these tips and hopefully they can help you out the next time you fly at the airport.
