When it comes down to a gift or maybe you’re looking for a gift card, did you know that most of the major airlines issue gift cards?  Some people buy them for others, while others buy them because they find it cheaper than paying face value for a ticket.  When it comes down to getting gift cards, I’ll show you some places you can look when it comes to buying one.

Try out websites like Ebay

EBay has a lot of great offers when it comes to gift cards.  The only thing you have to worry about here is if the cards are legit or not.  Most of the time they are, while there’s that slim chance that person can rip you off, you’re most likely safe.  Try out eBay and do a quick search for airline gift cards to see what pops up.  I did a quick search and found a few $100 gift cards going for as little as $35 with a few hours left!

Go the airline’s website directly

If you want to get it as a gift and you don’t care about saving money, I would recommend you go to the website directly.  Let’s say you want to purchase from Southwest airlines.  Head on over to southwest.com, look for the gift cards and buy one directly off their website.

Check out your local grocery store, etc

If you have a CVS, Walmart, or any store like this around, you’re going to find that many of them have gift card kiosks set up now.  Browse one of these and see if they have the airline of your choice.  There’s a fairly good chance that they do.  This is a great route to take if you want to purchase it in person.

I would try these three steps when it comes down to buying and getting an airline gift card.  These can make great gifts, and they can also save you a lot of money if you buy off an auction site like Ebay.  Try some of the tips above and see what you can come up with.
