If you’re a frequent traveller, I’m sure you’ve come across airlines trying to pitch their credit card to you and how great it can be if you’re a frequent flier.  While some people ponder if it would be meant for them, others don’t even know if it’s worth it for them.  I’m going to give you a few questions and you should ask yourself these simple questions.  By the end of this article, you should get a clear understanding if an airline miles credit card is worth it for you.

Do you travel a lot?- If you’re a frequent traveller and you tend to travel at least once a month, then you’ll definitely find an advantage when you apply for a credit card.  The more miles you earn, the more you’ll get back in rewards.  My word of advice is if you travel at least once every two to three months, you’ll definitely get your use out of your airline card.

Are you loyal?  – When I say this, I want you to think of who you fly with all the time.  Do you fly with the cheapest airline or are you loyal to one airline company?  If you’re loyal to one company, they can easily track your progress with their credit card.  The more you fly, the better they will treat you.  You’ll get complimentary upgrades, first in line access, and many other perks.  These will all vary depending on the airline.

Do you like rewards?  – I’m sure everyone is going to answer yes to this but if you’re flying a lot without a rewards card, you’re missing out.  That whole time you’ve been flying, you could have probably cashed in for a few free airline tickets by now.  If you’re already paying by credit card, you might as well use your airline credit card.  It will be a lot easier to keep track of your expenses.  This is nice for people that love to keep track of their budget.

When applying for an airline credit card, it really only comes down to a few things and that is if you fly a lot or you just simply like rewards.  Even if you fly a few times a year, you can still find benefits with the card, it isn’t designed just for a business type traveller.  If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, be sure to check out our main website FINDairlinecards that deals with travel credit cards.
