American airlines are the safest and most secure planes in mid air today. They provide their passengers with comfort and safety. American planes are made in USA and are made by American workers which are one way to help our economy. Jobs are provided for many people in our country by the airlines. Our economy has its problems providing employment but American Airline is there to help the economy grow and maintain itself when we need them. We should back our airline companies just as they have backed us a nation and a people.

American airlines help keep the economy growing with their frequent flyer miles that are offered on credit cards. While many people travel often because of their business others travel occasionally but through the credit card companies we can earn frequent flyer miles by buying our tickets off the credit cards provided by the airlines. These same credit cards are normally good at hotels, restaurants, retail outlets and more helping us all to earn free travel miles. This is one of the many ways that airlines are able to help the economy and the people.

Airline companies also do other things that are important to our nation by making donations to important organizations like “Make a Wish” foundation. You can save your frequent flyer miles and donate them to a charitable organization and the airline companies will match what you donate. This is a good way to help others and a proven method that airlines work for us all. Airlines have many employees providing many job opportunities for people in the nation. Airports usually support restaurants, drug stores, retail outlets, rental car services and shuttle bus services to help passengers get to where they are going. Many of these businesses are operated by other companies but because of airlines providing space for them to operate then new business are able to function providing many job opportunities.

Airlines provide training schools for their employees to make sure that they are well trained professionals who can take care of their customers. There are many good occupations available with airline companies such as pilots, stewardess, luggage handlers, maintenance, mechanics etc. This is one reason that our airlines are so vital to the economy of the nation. It is important that Americans start doing for their own economy as we cannot expect the government to do everything.
