Traveling with a baby can be tough, no matter how you do it.  By boat, train, or automobile, it’s going to be a challenge, but you’re going to have to take your baby some places no matter what.  When you’re ready to fly the great blue skies with your baby, here are some tips that you can follow in order to ensure you that your flight goes by without any problems.

Write down a list and bring it: Your baby is going to need a lot of items.  Write down a list, and make sure that you bring everything that your baby is going to need.  If you’re going to bring carry on items, always make sure you know what you can and can’t bring onto an airplane.

Always bring more than expected: Sometimes you’ll find that an airplane isn’t going to take off in time, and that’s okay.  Instead of worrying about your baby running out of formula, bring double, so that you won’t have that worry in the back of your head.

Feed your baby before take off: If you can, feed your baby before you even board the plane.  This way, you probably won’t have to worry about feeding your child during the flight.  Since most flights are a few hours long, you should be okay before take off, if you do decide to feed your baby.

Bring entertainment: Depending on how old your baby is, you may want to bring his/her favorite toy and blanket.  This way, this will all remind your baby of home.

Keep in mind that you may come across problems with your child on board, and it’s completely normal.  We all know that sometimes you just have to fly with your child, and that’s okay.  You shouldn’t have to worry about what other people think or do.  As long as you come prepared, you shouldn’t have a problem at all with your trip.
