When it comes to checking out either information on your own flight or a relatives flight, there are many websites out there that will show you up to the date flight information that comes along with the delays.  I did some research online via some other websites and found out what the top three flight delay websites are.  Here they are listed below with a little snippet about each website and how it functions.

FlightStats.com – This is one of my ultimate favorites when it comes to flight information.  Here, you’ll be able to see all of the airports right now across the globe.  Find what airport you’re looking for and it will give you the delay index.  On this site, they rank it by color.  Red for a high delay, green for a low delay status.  This site is very easy to use and gives a lot of helpful information.  The best thing about it is that it’s free!

FlightArrivals.com - FlightArrivals.com is a fairly simple site to use.  It was rated by Yahoo! as one of top 50 useful sites on the web.  When you land on the site, look at the left hand sidebar to see what you want to look for.  If you want “arrivals”, click that, etc.  Once you click on what you want, just follow the on screen instructions and go from there.

FlightView.com- FlightView reminds me of FlightStats.  This site is easy to use, it has a simple map on the front page and it allows you to search by the airline and the flight number.  From there, you’ll get a detailed report on where the plane is at, if it’s delayed and the estimated arrival time.

These are by far my favorite top three flight information websites on the web.  They are all 100% free and filled with a ton of useful information when it comes to finding info on a flight.  If you have any you’d like to add to the mix, feel free to e-mail me some or comment!
