I did some research and came up with the top three must try restaurants in Asheville, North Carolina. No matter what kind of food you like, hopefully you’ll be able to find a place on this list that you’ll enjoy.
If you’re a big fan of breakfast and brunch, the Tupelo Honey Cafe is a must try. According to some online review websites, this rated as Asheville’s #1 place to eat. The Tupelo Honey Cafe features organic grown eggs and chicken breasts. Some of the meals you’ll see on the menu are sweet potato pancakes, the Tupelo’s omelet, biscuits and gravy, and so much. If you plan on going here, make sure you’re prepared to wait!
Any BBQ lover must try the 12 Bones Smokehouse. From reasonable priced food to a nice casual atmosphere, 12 bones is a must try is you’re a fan of anything BBQ. From ribs to pulled pork and beer, the smokehouse will definitely fit your craving. If you plan on attending 12 bones, make sure you’re prepared to wait around here too. This is a very big hot spot in Asheville. The only downfall to 12 bones are their hours. They are closed on weekends and only opened during lunch 11am – 4pm.
If you like the affordable family type “noodle bowl” joints, the Doc Chey’s Noodle House is a must see. From cheap prices to great food, this is a must visit for families of all ages. Here, you’ll be able to find anything noodle based such as Pad Thai, Chinese Lo Mein, and Teriyaki. Anything you can think of, this place has it.
