As a family, you probably don’t want to go out, and spend thousands of dollars on a vacation, and that’s okay.  Instead, you want to sit back, and enjoy yourself, without having to worry about how much money you’re going to spend.  If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, I want to give you a few tips that you can enjoy in order to save money.

Consider the beaches in the world - If you live close to a beach, or you want to consider one, I love going to the beach, because you don’t have to spend a lot of money.  It’s great fun for the kids, and it’s relaxing to just sit back, and watch the waves come crashing in.  Walk the beach, the boardwalks, and even the piers.  The only thing you’re going to have to pay for is a hotel, and some food, as well as getting there.

The mountains - A lot of places have mountains, and in those mountains are cabins, campgrounds, and more.  Instead of staying at a four diamond resort, you can snatch up for one these spots for very few dollars, depending on the time of the season you go.  In the mountains, you can take hikes, enjoy the views, and even explore.  There’s lot to do for a great low price.

Go in the off season – If you travel in the off season to places like the beach, Arizona, and more, you can save a load of money.  Why go when everyone else wants to go?  Well, for starters, the weather might be nicer, but you can still see the same exact things.  For example, Arizona may be brutally hot in the summer, but it shouldn’t stop you from going to the museums, and other things.

Try these three tips when you’re looking for cheap vacation spots.  I know I didn’t give details on places to go, but you can use your imagination, and explore areas that you want.  Apply your tips to your travels, and you’ll be able to save.
