Camping is by far one of the cheapest ways to travel, and if you’re looking to take your conversion van out on the road, this may be the best thing to do. You won’t have to tow a trailer, and you don’t have to worry about your ridiculous gas bill.
Today, I wanted to give you a few tips that you can use, when you’re looking to take your conversion van out on the road. I wanted to show you how you can get the most out of your trip with your van.
- Pack all the essentials: Before you even head out, make sure that you get everything you need. There are a lot of things that you’re going to forget. You will want to grab things such as bed sheets, your toiletries, food, your clothes, and anything else you may need at the campground.
- Bring storage bins: Storage bins are a great thing to bring when using your conversion van. What you’re going to find out is that since you don’t have that much space, you’re going to have to limit yourself. Grab a few storage bins, and put your belongings in there. You will find that this will free up a lot of space for yourself, making the trip easier.
- Watch the heat: Never leave your van running overnight. This isn’t healthy for you. Instead, if you’re finding yourself in a colder climate, you may want to bring special sleeping bags, or if you wish, you can start up the car here, and there just to get it warmed up again. If you have a sleeping bag that’s designed for the cold, you shouldn’t have much to worry about, as long as you’re inside the van.
Conversion vans are a great way to camp. It’s a lot easier than a RV. You’re going to save money, and you’re going to find that you can still camp, just like any other people. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors, and not have to pay that hefty hotel bill.
