Cheap Lift TicketsIt’s officially Winter season, and if you’re looking to get some great deals on lift tickets, I wanted to give you some pointers today on how you can save the big bucks on your lift tickets.  Every state and ski lift is going to vary in price, but most of these tips can help you snag a fairly good deal.

Call up and ask for coupons

Sounds kind of silly, but it does work.  Many ski lifts out there will give you a coupon book upon arrival.  If you call them up, and tell them that you intend on coming, ask them where you can get more information, and discounts.  Since they want you to come, you can get something delivered to you.

Consider working there

I know it sounds like stretch, but if you have some free time, and you’re willing to work part time, many ski lifts are always hiring.  Not only are you going to get paid, you will get a free seasonal pass as well.  I know you may not want to work, but you can always consider it!

Look for packaged deals

If you have a parks and recreation in your area, glance through the travel section, and see if they are having any type of bus tours going on.  What you will find out is that you can head on a bus with other people that want to do the same thing.  Since groups get a fairly big discount, you can take advantage to.  Not only are you going to get a discount, you can get transportation there as well!

Just search online

If you know where you want to ski, search online, and see if there are any promotions. A  lot of the times it’s right on their site.  Some will reward you for signing up for their e-mail, while others will have the coupon right on the page, where you can print it out.  It never hurts to conduct a quick search.

The best thing that you can do when searching for cheap ski lift tickets is simply by preparing, and purchasing them early.  By doing so, you’re going to find that you can get the best deals possible.  Always buy online, and always try to find a discount coupon, because the worst thing that you can do is purchase it right at the gate!
