When looking to either give a gift, or get gift certificates for yourself, you may, or may not know where to get them, since you can’t just head to the airport, and get a gift card. It just isn’t worth the time, and hassle. Instead of doing that, here are some tips that you can follow in order to get one.

Head to the airline’s website

Many airlines like Delta and Southwest allow you to purchase the gift cards directly from their website. Once you order them online, you can get them in the mail about a week later. Pick your price, and it’s as easy as 1-2-3 shopping online.
This is my favorite route to go usually.

Go to your local CVS or Walgreens

CVS and Walgreens have a huge selection of gift cards, believe it or not. The only thing that you may run into here is that they don’t have the airline that you’re looking for. This option though is a great way to pick up a card right away, instead of waiting for it in the mail.

Look at ebay for deals

Ebay works wonders when you’re looking to save money on just about anything, and yes, you can find gift cards on here as well.  Usually, gift cards will run about 95% of the face value.  This means that for every $100 you want, you’ll spend about $95 to get.  If you do this route, make sure you buy from a reputable buyer to ensure that you don’t get ripped off.
