The next time you head down to Delray Beach, Florida or if you’re planning on taking a vacation there, I wanted to give you some ideas on what you can do when you’re down there.  You may find that there are so many things to do that your head is going to spin!

While Delray isn’t the biggest area around in Florida, there are a handful of great things that you can take advantage of.  Listed below are 5 things that you can do when you’re looking for something fun and exciting.

#1 Wakodahatchee Wetlands: Yes, it has a funny name, but you’re going to find that you will have a fantastic time here if you’re a fan of any type of nature.  There are birds galore that will just blow your mind.  Be sure to bring your camera to this event!

#2 Morikami Museum: This museum / Japanese Gardens is a great place to attend if you’re looking to get more information on the history of Japanese culture.  Its peaceful and also ranked as one of the top 20 Japanese gardens in the United States.

#3 Pazzia: If you want a fun activity for the kids, the Pazzia is the place to be.  Hop on the boat and take a tour of the great Atlantic Ocean.  Scour the beautiful homes along the ocean, a s well as look for any type of wildlife.  For a smaller fee, you can also take the jet skis for a spin!

#4 Atlantic Dunes Park: This is more of a beach that you may want to check out.  I think this is one of the cleanest beaches in Delray.  If you’re looking for a place to wind down and catch some rays, highly consider this place!

#5 Atlantic Avenue: The last attraction on my list is Atlantic Avenue.  This is really the main street of the town.  Visit shops such as the Antique shops, galleries, clothing stores, and more.  Its a great way to spend the afternoon on a nice day.

As you can see, there is a little bit for the whole family to do.    Whether you want to unwind down at the beach, or maybe you want to go out and shop, be sure to check out some of these attractions to find something for you to do!
