Parking can cost you a lot of money when you’re thinking about going to the airport, and what most people don’t realize is that you can get a taxi, or bus service, rather than paying all that money to park. Sure, sometimes it’s easier to park than pay someone to drive you, but it all depends on how long you’re going to stay.
In my opinion, if you’re going to stay longer than 7 days, you will most likely want to consider a taxi. The further you are away from the airport, the more you’re probably going to pay in fares. So, how exactly do you find these taxis to get you to the airport?
Try the search engines - Since there are so many airports out there, you will most likely want to Google taxi services in your area. Before you book your taxi though, you will want to make sure you know how much it’s going to cost you. You’ll want to compare at least 5 different taxi services before you do so.
Go to the airport website – Your airport will most likely have a website. On their website, they are going to have a ton of transportation options. Here, you’ll want to see what they recommend. These are generally the people that they have some sort of deal with. You can grab some numbers, and once again compare the prices.
Use the iPhone taxi app - The iPhone has a really cool app called the Taxi App. You can find out more about it here. With this app, you’re going to find that you can search for taxi services right in your area. You can get a phone number, as well as a rating of the service. It’s great if you don’t know of any services in your area.
These three options should get you on the right path, when you’re looking for a taxi service. Once again, if you’re going to be staying for more than 7 days, I highly recommend you take this route to ensure that you get the most out of your transportation.
