Vegas is a great place to go when you’re looking to have fun at a low, low price. With so many things to do here, your head may be spinning, but if your motive is to save money, I wanted to give you some fun ideas that you can use in order to have cheap, yet a lot of fun.
Take advantage of free alcohol
If you’re a drinker, and you hate paying $5 for a beer at any bar, sit around the quarter slots, and wait for some waitresses to come by. Tell them that you want any drink, it’s going to be free. From there, whenever they come back with your drink, order another one. 99% of the time, they won’t give you grief.
Get a coupon book from the hotel
No matter where you stay, you’ll find that most hotels have huge coupon books. You’ll most likely get one at check in. If you don’t, ask for one to see if you can get it. These are usually filled with vouchers, buy one get one frees, free gifts, and more. It’s a great way to save on many things around the Vegas strip.
Sign up for the player’s club cards
Every casino has some sort of player’s club. If you sign up for most of them, they will give you a free gift. A lot of the times, it will be either free food, a few dollars to spend on the slot machines, or even a t-shirt, etc. If you don’t mind giving your name, and address out, you can walk away with a lot of free vouchers, and lots of food! It’s a great way to eat for free.
Sit through a timeshare if you have the time
If you have four hours to spare, look for the timeshare booths all over the Vegas strip, and in the hotels. They will give you great rewards just for signing up to listen to a sales pitch. Now, keep in mind that it’s hard to tell them no, but if you’re aggressive enough, you can walk away with some pretty great gifts. I tried one once and received a $50 gift card, 3 hotel stays, and 2 show vouchers. It was well worth the four hours!
As you can tell by now, Vegas doesn’t need to cost you an arm, and leg. Instead, try some of these fun tips, and see how much you can save.
