It’s the summer time, and it’s time to get out there, and travel.  There’s no better time than to travel when everywhere in the USA is warm, rather than cold.  I’m sure the kids are out of school, and it’s a great time to take off work.  If you’re looking for some great vacation spots for the whole family, I came up with some spots you should check out.

San Diego, CA - With warm weather year around, and great beaches, this is a great place to take the family for the weekend.  You can swim in the ocean, go to Sea World, or visit the ever so famous San Diego zoo.

New York City - Many people steer clear of NYC during the cold months, since the weather can be brutal.  Where do I start when it comes to New York City?  With a million and one things to do, there will be something that will entertain you.

Chicago, IL - Another great big city, Chicago is a wonderful place to be in the summer.  From going to the top of the Sears tower, to just walking up, and down Michigan Avenue.  There’s so much to do in terms of shopping, and restaurants.

Myrtle Beach, SC - I’m a huge fan of beaches, and Myrtle Beach fits my criteria quite well.  It’s loaded with tons of shopping, restaurants, and miles of beaches.  There’s nothing better than taking the family to a nice resort, and hanging out at the beach each, and every day!

Orlando, FL - Sure, Florida is hot in the Summertime, but there’s some great places to cool off, such as the oceans nearby.  If you’re looking for adventure, Orlando has it all from Disney World to the Magic Kingdom.  You can keep busy here for days, without having to think of things to do.

Maui, Hawaii – If you have the money to travel to Hawaii, you’re in for a treat.  Since many haven’t been here, a lot are finding out that they are missing out when they get older.  Snorkel in the ocean, explore forests, volcanoes, and enjoy the local culture.

These are just a select few cities that should check out when it comes to your summer travels this year.  It doesn’t even have to be summer to go to these places!  Instead, look at a few of these cities, and see what works for you and your family.
