Flying comfortablyThousands of people fly daily and if you’re one of them, one thing on your mind is how to fly comfortably.  While airline companies cut back airline sizes and jam more seats in the plane, many find it very hard to stay comfortable on that four hour flight to Los Angeles.  While we can do so much to fly comfortable, I’m going to show you some tips that may help you on your next flight.

Important Date?  Fly ahead of time

If you’re going to attend a wedding, a meeting, or anything on that particluar day, I’m sure you know by know that flying takes a lot of out of you.  Make sure that when you fly, you fly the day before.  This way, you can land, get a night full of rest, and go onto your activities the next day without having to be tired.

Fly in the Morning

Flying in the morning generally means there will be less people.  Most of the times, you’ll be travelling with business folks.  The nice thing about flying in the morning is if your flight gets delayed by chance, you’ll have the rest of the day to hop onto another flight.  Flying at night will generally mean you’ll have to wait til the next day to get a flight.

Take Advantage of Airport Luxuries

If you’re waiting for your fight, why not make it a fun experience?  Instead of wiating in your chair for your flight to be called, you should check out what the airport has to offer.  Many airports have luxury waiting rooms or speciality places such as Metro Aiport in Detroit.  In Detroit, you can get massages, a facial, and even a massage at the terminal!  If you have a lot of time to spare, this is defintely a great option.

Bring Entertainment

When you finally do get on your airplane, make sure you bring lots of entertainment.  Bring anything ranging from books to portable DVD players.  The more you have to keep yourself entertained, the less likely you are to think about how bored or uncomfortable you are.  Entertainment generally takes you a long way on your flight.  Also, it never hurts to bring a pillow as well if you want to take a nap.
