Do you want to take a trip to Disney with your children, or perhaps you and your significant other or friend? Regardless of who you’re going with, you can make this trip affordable, and happen. Don’t let your dreams be crushed because you think it’s going to be too expensive. There are ways to save money on everything, so now I’m going to tell you how to save when you plan a trip to Disney! Consider a few of these tips, and see yourself going to Disney in the near future!
How to Make a Disney Vacation Cheaper:
- If really want to go, and you really want to save money you’re going to have to go during off season. Florida and California are both pretty nice year round so this shouldn’t be a problem. It will help you beat the crowds and save you money.
- For your hotel you want to compare the rates of other hotels. I find it cheaper to get a hotel that is a couple miles away from the main attractions to be cheaper. If you stay right in Disney, you’ll end up paying an arm and a leg just to be a few miles closer.
- For your flight, I would consider booking it in advanced. The longer you wait, the more you’re going to pay. Also, try booking a flight on a Tuesday or Wednesday, those seem to be the cheapest for flying.
- There are a lot of great packages out there when it comes to getting tickets, but I highly recommend you just get the base tickets.
- You will want to plan for your day at Disney. Bring a bag or a backpack and bring your own snacks. When you go to popular attractions, you can easily spend $5 on a drink and $15 on a meal. So, make your own sandwiches and bring you own drinks!
- There will be a lot of cool gifts and souvenirs, so make sure you only bring cash (which should be your budget amount.) So, if you only want to spend $50 on gifts, only bring $50, no credit cards! You don’t want to overspend, because you probably will if you don’t budget.
- Also, make sure you shop outside of Disney. What’s inside the park like shirt wise and gift wise can cost you easily $20 more than outside of the park at souvenir shops!
When you save more money, and plan your trips carefully, you can easily save a lot of money. Don’t make your trips minimal because “they’re expensive”, instead think outside the box and figure out ways to save money!
