We decided to start up a new series here at FindAirlineCards. Since so many of you are always curious about parking at particular airports, we thought we would make it easier for you, and post where we think are the best places to park at particular airports. Today, we’re going to take a look at where the best place to park is at LAX or aka the Los Angeles International Airport. Sadly, the X has no meaning.
The best places to park at LAX
Most airports charge an arm, and leg to park at the airport, but you’re going to find that LAX’s parking lots B and C are by far the most popular parking spots, when you browse around online. The reason that so many local travellers like this spot is because you can get to the airport rather quickly, and the parking lot is relatively safe, since it’s always patrolled by the LAPD.
TheParkingSpot has many locations nationwide, and have a great location near LAX. This location is located off the airport” property, but you may take a free shuttle straight to the terminals. If you travel a lot for business, they have a great reward program that you can take advantage of, where you can earn free parking spots, and more.
Airpark LAX
Airpark is another traveler favorite based on the location, and the price. Out of all the parking options that we had looked at, Airpark had one of the cheapest ways of getting there. For under $6 a day, you can either park on the roof, or if you want covered parking, it’s going to cost you about $8/day.
LAX Parking Center
LAX Parking Center is a little further away than most would like, but the prices are too good to pass up. Yes, you can get a shuttle, and yes, they do have a rating. They have a ton of options to choose from, and I would recommend that you hop on their website, and see what they can do for you.

Just a few points of clarification: Parking Lot B is now permanently closed to the public.
There are rather quite a few parking options for LAX, ranging from free – if you have an electric car – to meters to off site parking lots and garages. Virtually all of the off site parking sites offer frequent, free shuttles to (and from) the airport terminal of your choice. As well, the off site parking providers all have 24/7 security systems and/or roving guards, so you can rest assured that your car will be where you left it when you return.
Reserving your parking spot online ahead of time will typically save you money. Full fair last-minute cash prices tend to be significantly higher. Parking at the airport itself will not necessarily save you money; the airport authority prices their spaces to be competitive with the private operators. Using a specialized LAX airport parking meta-search engine can save you quite a bit of time and money.
