Bakersfield, California may sound like a place with nothing to do but to our surprise, there are a few things that are worth seeing or doing there.  From sightseeing to visiting particular landmarks, Bakersfield has a few attractions that may make you stop by the next time you’re in the area.  We all know that California is a busy place but this shouldn’t stop you from visiting these top three places in Bakersfield:

Kern County Museum

If you’re a big fan of museums, the Kern County Museum may be worth checkingout.  Founded in 1941, this museum features over 50 attractions, including an awarding winning hands-on exhibit called “Black Gold:  The Oil Experience” .  This museum focuses mainly on the Native American Life as well as the Frontier Life.  If you’re a fan of any type of history, the Kern County Museum is worth a look!

Crystal Place and Museum

The Crystal Place is a place if you love country music.  From a festive atmosphere to great food, there’s everything here for any country fan.  Here, you’ll be able to view photographs, autographs, and guitars from major artists that you may have heard of.  Anyone that has been here has said nothing but positive things!  Even if you’re not a fan of country music, the food is worth the trip alone.

CampingWorld

I usually gear away from shopping but if you’re a big outdoors fan or you just like anything RV or camping related, CampingWorld is worth a visit.  Anything you can think, they have it and the prices are extremely reasonable!  From RV accessories to tents, they will have it here.  CampingWorld has a ton of locations but if you’re in Bakersfield, you may want to shop here!
