Whether you’re heading down to St Petes Beach for this upcoming Summer or maybe you’re going to take your friends on a spring break trip.  Regardless of what you do, I wanted to give you 8 cool things that you can do when you’re heading down there for the first time, or even the 100th time!

No matter what you like to do, I’m hoping that out of these 8 things, you should be able to find something that can entertain you while you’re down in the sunny state of Florida.

  • #1 Florida Orange Groves and Winery: If you love to drink wine, you’re going to love this place.  It’s rated one of the better things to do when you’re here.  It’s not the best thing for kids, but works great for dates!
  • #2 State Theater: Want to see a show?  If you’re interested in spotting a show, this is probably one of the nicer venues there.  You can eat, drink at the bar, and catch all sorts of entertainment.
  • #3 Salvador Dali Museum: If you want to go somewhere where you’re going to spend the majority of your day inside, you will want to consider this museum.  You can look at exhibits at salvadordalimuseum.org.
  • #4 Sunken Gardens: This is one of the oldest museums around in St. Petes.  Enjoy some of the oldest tropical plants known to Florida.  View exhibits and more.  View over 50,000 plants.
  • #5 Florida Holocaust Museum: If you’re interested in the Holocaust, this is another museum that is worth checking out.  Grab a piece of history that may put you in tears and inspire you at the same time!
  • #6 The Saturday Morning Market: Just as the name says, this market meets from October to May on Monday mornings.  Enjoy fantastic foods, music, as well as art.
  • #7 Boyd Hill Nature Park: If you’re a fan of nature, this is a park that you may want to stop by at.   Take a hike, visit animals, as all kinds of other types of wildlife.
  • #8 Tropicana Field: Baseball season doesn’t last long, but if you’re in St. Pete during the Summer, be sure to check out the Tampa Bay Rays over at Tropicana Field.

As you can see, the top 8 list has a little bit of everything.  Sure, you may not like everything on the list, but it can give you a good idea on whats around the town.  Be sure to visit the official websites for each attraction to get a better understanding on what you can expect!
