When we’re flying somewhere, the plane that we’re riding on is definitely going to either make the flight more enjoyable or pretty rough. Whether you’re flying just to the next state, or across the world, you may want to think about what kind of flight you’d enjoy the most. There are several differences in all the airlines, and if you’re looking to find out what those differences are because you’re a new flyer, continue reading below.
Small vs. large - If you’re going some place that is close by, or there aren’t many people flying on the same plane as you, you’ll most likely get a smaller plane. Although if there are several people flying, and you’re flying farther away, you’ll most likely be on a large plane.
Entertainment vs. none – Some of the airlines provide great entertainment for you. For example, some will allow you to see where you’re at on a map on TV, some play movies for you, or you can even watch TV right from your seat. Although, if you fly on a cheaper airline, you’ll receive none of this entertainment.
Food vs. no food – Some of the airlines are generous and include a snack for you free of charge. Although, if you fly on a cheaper flight, you’ll mostly receive just a small bag of peanuts. One good thing though is that almost every airline gives you something to drink.
Rows of seats – Some planes are smaller and just seat 2 seats for 2 rows, and some are larger and seat 3 people then 2, and a last row of 3. However big your plane is, will determine how many seats you’ll have.
First class – Almost every plane includes a first class row, but some are more upscale than others, if you’re looking to sit in first class, be prepared to pay a large amount of money. Although, if you’re looking to see what it includes, look on the website for information.
As you can see, different airlines include different things. So, if you’ve never flown before, and you’re not sure what to expect, look on the website that you’re booking through to find out some of this information. If you’re just flying a short flight don’t worry about all the luxuries, although if it is a long flight, you may want to consider a nicer plane for some entertainment.
