Your anniversary is coming up and you’re thinking about a place to go.  Whether you want to travel 2,000 miles, or maybe you want to travel down the road, I wanted to give you some ideas that you can use when you want to take your loved one on a date.  Sure, all of these may not be for you, but you may be able to find something for you.

Listed below are 7 getaway spots that you may want to consider for your next anniversary vacation…

Go out on a nice cruise

There are many themed cruise lines that you can take advantage of.  Whether you want to get one that’s all inclusive, or you want something that’s going to take you to a warmer island, there should be a lot of options opened for you.

Head on down to a resort on the water

Resorts are everywhere.  You can find them down the road, or you mainly find them all on an island.  Again, do you want something that’s going to pay for everything?  Do you want something that’s on the water?

Head to the beach

If you live in the United States, you don’t need to go to the ocean to find a beach.  There are many inland lakes that you can take advantage of.  For example, think of Michigan for example, where you can take advantage of the Great Lakes.

Find yourself relaxing on an island

Just about any island out there is going to be relaxing.  Whether you want to lounge around on the beach, take a tour, or eat some fancy food on the sandy beach.  No one is going to complain about an island trip.

Go to an amusement park

Who says that an amusement park is something for kids?  Places like Disney and others are great for adults.  Here, you’re going to find many things to do.  From tours to the rides, it’s a great place to getaway.

Go away to a casino for the weekend

No matter what state you’re in, you’re going to find that you’re a drive away from a casino.  Casinos are a great way to let off some steam and have fun.  Stay at the hotel and get a suite.

Leave the country

This would be more of an expensive trip, but nothing is better than heading to France, Germany, Australia.  This trip is going to be a little expensive, but you will find that it is well worth it!

The list of ideas go on and on, but this gives you a good feel on what you can do.  Be creative and think of something that’s going to be a great time.
