Travelling can be fun, yet it can be stressful at the same time, especially if you’re travelling overseas. With so much going on in the world in today’s era, it’s hard to tell which country is safe, and which country isn’t. Thankfully, with the Internet, there are many websites that you can check out, in order to find out which places are safe, and which ones have warnings.
The first place that I always go to when I’m looking for travelling warnings is the US Department of State website. On this website, you’ll get a full list of the countries that currently have travel warnings. You may click on the country and see exactly what the US recommend that you don’t go there. The reasons will vary anywhere from a war to health warnings. This is a website that you must check out when you want to get all the warnings in one place.
Check with your airline
No matter what airline you fly, they will always advise with travel warnings. Make sure that you check with the airline before you book your flight. They will be able to tell you where they are currently flying, and if it’s safe. If you don’t feel like calling up the airlines, you can always check out their website to see what places they recommend that you don’t travel to at this time.
When it comes to your safety, I strongly encourage you that you know of where it’s safe to travel. The government doesn’t just place this warnings on their website for the fun of it. If you’re seriously contemplating if you want to travel to one of these countries, you really have to ask yourself if it’s worth your life?
