What are Airport Parking Rates?
posted by FindAirlineCards.comAirport parking rates are going to vary city, by city, so to answer this question, it’s going to be hard to know exactly how much it’s going to cost you to park your car for a certain period of time. But, I will be able to point you in the right direction when it comes down to finding the parking rates at your local airport.
Google your airport - The first thing that you want to do is find your airport’s website. 99% of the airports out there have websites, and the airport in your area should have one. What you’ll want to do once you find one is look for the parking tab on the web page. Here, you’ll get information on the parking at the airport only. Keep in mind that you won’t get rates outside of the airport.
Research parking outside - Parking outside of the airport is always going to be cheaper. You’re going to want to make sure that you look at lots around the airport as well. How can you find parking lots such as this? You can easily use Google again, and simply type something along the lines of “airport name parking”, and see what kind of results you get.
Don’t forget the hotels - A lot of people also forget about the hotels in the area. These places as well offer great deals for parking. If you’re going to stay for a long time, I would highly consider something like this as well. You can stay for one night, and get a x amount of days for free.
What are some estimates on parking rates?
Once again, since the city will vary, I will give you a ball park range.
- Hourly parking: $2 + /hr.
- Airport day parking: $10 day and up
- Day parking: $5 day and up
- Hotel parking: Around $79 per night + a few days of parking included
